RIDER Test Systems have been designed as a flexible, scaleable and open testing platform to support existing and future RFID applications and technologies, covering not only Conformance RFID Test Standards (EPC Gen-2, Mobile RFID & NFC standards) but also RF and Protocol R&D testing beyond conformance requirements.

RIDER is the most powerful testing tool for RFID Conformance testing, development and manufacturing support, Performance evaluation and world-wide benchmarking.

RIDER Tester platform uses the intuitive and user friendly AT4 wireless's "Test Manager" software, that automates all tasks in the testing process chain, covering test execution, data collection for test preparation, results analysis, report generation and system calibration. By means of the automation capabilities of AT4 wireless's Test Manager, unattended execution of test sessions is possible, maximising the actual testing time of your RIDER Tester.

RIDER Conformance Tester supports the most important RFID standards and technologies in the UHF and HF (13,56 MHz) bands.

RIDER UHF Conformance Tester covers the following standards:

• EPC Generation 1.
• EPC Generation 2.
• ISO 18000-6 Type A & B.
• Mobile RFID Conformance Standard (MRFS-5-01).

RIDER HF Conformance Tester supports the following standards (under development):

• NFC Standard.
• ISO 18000-3.
• ISO 14443-2.
• ISO 15693-2.

RIDER is the perfect solution to verify that RFID Interrogators & Tags, NFC devices and Mobile RFID devices, fulfil the existing RF and protocol Conformance Standards.

RIDER Test System is the official test platform used by MET Laboratories in US for the EPCglobal Generation-2 hardware certification program, being the only test system in the world capable of testing the complete EPC Gen-2 RF and Protocol requirements. With the RIDER test system AT4 wireless has been able to integrate the best-in-class general purpose test instruments and to develop the necessary hardware and software test tools needed to test the mandatory compliance requirements from the most important RFID standards, frequencies and related technologies.

RIDER Signalling Unit

RIDER Protocol Tester is built around the AT4 wireless Signalling Unit. This advanced device support all the requirements for EPC Gen2 Tags Protocol testing and it provides the RIDER with the following features:

• Ability to emulate an EPC Gen2 Interrogator behaviour for testing purposes.
• Generation of Interrogator's commands to 'talk' with the Tag under test.
• Reception and demodulation of Tag responses.
• Turnaround tag data within microseconds.
